Golden Puffs
Golden Puffs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. self-rising flour, 1/4 c. sugar, 1 tsp. nutmeg or mace, 1/4. salad oil and 1/4 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Heat 3 to 4-inches oil to 375Β°.
Measure flour, 1/4 cup sugar and nutmeg into bowl.
Add oil, milk and egg; beat until smooth. Drop by teaspoons (too large puffs will not cook) into fat.
Fry 4 or 5 at a time, about 3 minutes or until golden brown.
Drain. Sift together 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
Roll warm puffs in sugar-cinnamon mixture.
