Golden Meatball Casserole
Golden Meatball Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. ground meat (beef or turkey), 1 egg, 4 to 5 crackers, crushed, 1 c. uncooked rice and 5 carrots, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Form meatballs from ground meat, egg and crackers; brown in skillet coated with Pam.
When brown, remove meatballs from skillet; drain and rinse.
Return meatballs to skillet.
Add rice, carrots and 2 cups of water.
Cover and cook on medium-high heat until carrots are done (approximately 20 to 30 minutes).
You may need to add water.
After water is absorbed and carrots are done, cover with cheese slices, then cover with lid until cheese melts.
