Golden Crowns
Golden Crowns is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. scalded milk, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. shortening and 2 cakes yeast, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine first 4 ingredients lukewarm. Soften the yeast in lukewarm mixture.
Add and mix well the eggs and flour. Let double bulk. Punch down. Shape into small rolls the size of a walnut. Roll in the melted butter, then in the sugar, raisins, nuts and cinnamon. I in an angel food pan in rings until full.
Let rise, then bake at 350Β° about 45 to 50 minutes.
