Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Blend in flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
Add flavorings.
Pour batter into greased 8-inch tube pan, greased and floured.
Sprinkle batter with nuts.
Bake at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
