Glazed Popcorn
Glazed Popcorn is an easy dinner. Made with 8 c. popped corn, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 3 tbsp. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar or granulated sugar and 1 (4 serving) pkg. jell-o brand gelatin (any flavor), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Place popcorn in large bowl.
Heat butter and syrup in small saucepan over low heat.
Stir in brown sugar and gelatin; bring to a boil over medium heat.
Reduce heat to low and gently simmer for 5 minutes.
Pour syrup immediately over popcorn, tossing to coat well.
Spread popcorn into aluminum foil lined 15 x 10 x 1-inch pan, using forks to spread evenly.
Bake in preheated 350Β° oven for 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and break into small pieces. Makes 2 quarts.
