Glazed Carrots
Glazed Carrots is an easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. fresh carrots, 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. grated orange peel and 1 tsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Prepare and cook carrots in microwave (slice carrots on the diagonal or use baby carrots).
In large skillet, cook and stir brown sugar, salt, orange peel and butter until bubbly.
Add carrots and cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes or until carrots are heated and glazed through.
Makes 5 to 6 servings.
