Cook carrots in a medium saucepan until tender.
This will take 6 to 20 minutes, depending on age of carrots.
Drain.
Mix the orange juice, sugar, cloves, salt and cheese spread.
Pour over the carrots; cook over low heat, stirring all the time, until the cheese melts and the mixture thickens.
Do not let it boil.
