Gingersnaps

Blend sugar, shortening, egg and molasses.
Mix dry ingredients together separately.
Add all together.
Cool dough in refrigerator 2 to 3 hours or overnight.
Roll in small balls; dip top in sugar and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
