Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 c. sorghum molasses and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix shortening, sugar, egg and molasses together.
Sift and add to mixture the flour, soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Mix well.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Roll in sugar.
Bake on ungreased baking sheet at 375Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen.
