Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter and shortening (mixed), 1 c. sugar, 1 c. molasses, 1/2 c. water and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Butter shortening and sugar.
Add molasses. Dissolve soda in water.
Add to mixture.
Add spices, salt and soda water.
Add flour to make stiff dough.
Chill dough.
Roll out thin cut or roll in small balls and press on cookie sheet with fork.
Bake at 350° to 375° until set, approximately 10 to 12 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
