Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. dark molasses, 2 eggs and 4 c. sifted all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

In large bowl, cream together shortening and the 2 cups sugar. Add molasses and eggs; beat well.
Sift together flour, soda, cinnamon, cloves, ginger and salt; add to first mixture.
Mix well and cover; chill.
