Gingersnaps
Gingersnaps is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. molasses, 1 egg and 2 1/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening, brown sugar, molasses and egg until fluffy. Sift together flour, soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon and cloves; stir into molasses mixture.
Form into small balls and roll in sugar.
Place 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375Β° for about 12 minutes.
Makes 5 dozen.
