Gingersnap Bars
Gingersnap Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening, 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 c. sugar, 2 tsp. soda and 1 tsp. cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Heat oven to 375°.
Grease a 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan.
In large saucepan, melt shortening.
Cool 5 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients, except 2 tablespoons sugar; mix well.
Press in bottom of prepared pan.
Sprinkle with remaining sugar.
Bake at 375° for 10 to 12 minutes.
Do not overbake.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Cut into bars.
Cool completely.
Makes 48 bars.
