Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg and molasses; beat well.
Add dry ingredients; mix well.
Refrigerate 6 hours or more.
Roll on floured surface 1/8-inch thick.

Bake on greased cookie sheet about 9 or 10 minutes in a 350Β° oven. Remove, cool and decorate.
