Gingerbread
Gingerbread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 3/4 c. dark brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1 c. boiling water and 2 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Beat eggs, butter, sugar and molasses until very thick and smooth.
Sift flour and other dry ingredients together.
Add flour and water alternately to the egg mixture.
Beat well after each addition.
Place batter in a well buttered and floured 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Bake 40 minutes in 400Β° oven.
Let gingerbread cool 15 minutes before cutting into squares.
