Ginger Pear Jam
Ginger Pear Jam is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. canned pears and juice, 1/2 c. candied ginger, 2 lemons, 1 c. sugar and 1/2 c. pectin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Chop pears; add juice, finely chopped ginger, juice of lemon and grated rind, sugar and molasses.
Cook slowly in a heavy saucepan for 10 minutes.
Add pectin and boil rapidly 5 minutes. Pack in hot jars and seal at once.
