Ginger Creams
Ginger Creams is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. soft shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 small egg, 1/2 c. molasses and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, molasses and water thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients together and stir in.
Chill dough.
Heat oven to 400Β° (moderate heat).
Drop dough by teaspoons about 2 inches apart onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
Cookies will spread slightly during baking.
Bake about 8 minutes or until almost no imprint remains when touched lightly.
Makes about 4 dozen 2-inch cookies.
