Ginger Creams
Ginger Creams is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. butter, 1 egg, 1/3 c. molasses and 1/2 c. lukewarm water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.
Add egg.
Beat well after; add molasses.
Stir soda into warm water.
Add alternately with sifted dry ingredients.
Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake about 20 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Spread with Powdered Sugar Icing.
Cut into strips 1 x 2-inches.
