Ginger Beef
Ginger Beef is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. london broil, 1 tbsp. vegetable oil, 1 tsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. light soy sauce and 1 garlic clove, finely minced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Slice beef lengthwise into 1 1/2-inch strips.
Cut strips crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
Toss beef, cornstarch, 1 tablespoon oil, salt, sugar, white pepper and 1 tablespoon soy sauce in a plastic bowl.
Cover and refrigerate for 1/2 hour.
Cut green onions diagonally into 1-inch pieces.
Heat wok until very hot.
Add 2 tablespoons oil.
Rotate to coat sides.
Add beef, ginger and garlic.
Stir-fry for 3 minutes or until beef is brown. Add green onions and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.
Stir-fry 2 minutes.
Serve over steamed white rice.
