German Noodle Bake
German Noodle Bake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, 2 tbsp. butter, 1/2 c. onion, chopped, 1/2 c. celery, chopped and 3 eggs, beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Cook noodles in salted water.
Saute onion and celery in butter until golden.
Add pepper.
Blend into cooked noodles in 2-quart casserole.
Add sour cream, cottage cheese and 3/4 of shredded cheese.
Pour beaten eggs over all and blend gently. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of cheese over all and bake for 1 hour at 350Β°. Let stand a few minutes before serving.
May be made in flat pan and cut into squares.
