German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake
German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box german chocolate cake mix, 1 (16 oz.) box powdered sugar, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, 1 c. coconut and 1 c. chopped pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix coconut and pecans together and put into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix 1 box German chocolate cake mix according to directions.
Pour on top of pecan mixture.
In saucepan, put one stick of margarine and 8 ounces of cream cheese, softened.
Heat until mixture is warm enough to stir in one box confectioners sugar (1 pound).
Spoon over top of cake mix.
Bake at 350Β° for 35 to 40 minutes.
Do not cut until cooled.
