German Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. salad oil, 3 eggs, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Mix oil and eggs by hand (no mixer at all!).
Add sugar, vanilla, salt and baking soda by hand.
Add cinnamon and flour; mix well.
Add apples and raisins, batter will be very thick.
Mix well and spread into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
When cool, sprinkle with confectioners sugar, if desired.
