German Apple Cake
German Apple Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 6 large apples, pared and sliced, 5 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. cinnamon, 3 c. flour and 2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

In small bowl, mix 5 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together. In large bowl, mix all other ingredients, except apples.
Batter will be thick.
Grease tube pan.
Cover bottom of pan with batter. Add a layer of apples; sprinkle with sugar-cinnamon mixture. Repeat this twice more.
(There will be 3 layers of apples.)
End with a thin layer of batter.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
