Garlic Grits
Garlic Grits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. quick cooking grits, 2 1/4 c. boiling water, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 stick oleo and 1 lb. grated cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix grits, water and salt.
Cook until done; set aside and cool.
Melt oleo and cheese.
Add to cooked grits, with egg, milk and garlic powder.
Put in greased casserole dish.
Sprinkle 1/2 cup cornflakes on top.
Bake 35 minutes at 350Β°.
Excellent with ham.
