Garden Pea Casserole
Garden Pea Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can peas with pearl onions, 1 can cream of celery soup, 1 small jar pimento, 1 small can sliced water chestnuts and 1 c. grated cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Use a 2-quart casserole sprayed with Pam.
Drain 1 can peas with pearl onions.
Pour into casserole and level.
Spread 1 can cream of celery soup over peas.
Sprinkle 1 small jar pimentos and then layer with water chestnuts that have been drained.
Sprinkle at least 1 cup grated cheese on top.
Melt margarine in frypan and using potato masher, crush 1 stack of Ritz crackers in margarine. Sprinkle on top of casserole.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 15 minutes, covered, and uncovered for 15 minutes.
Serve hot.
