Gala Pecan Spread
Gala Pecan Spread is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened, 1 small jar dried beef, cut in pieces, 1/4 c. green pepper, chopped, 1/2 tsp. garlic salt and 1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Mix softened cheese with milk.
Stir in beef, green pepper, onion and seasonings.
Mix well.
Fold in sour cream.
Spoon into glass dish with cover.
Crisp pecans in margarine and salt on medium heat for 1 minute.
Sprinkle pecans on top of spread.
Heat for 5 minutes on medium high.
Serve with party rye.
