Funnel Cakes
Funnel Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, dash of salt and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Heat shortening or oil 1-inch deep in a skillet to 375Β°.
Pour batter (about 1/4 of it at a time) into a funnel, then pour in a circular motion in the hot oil.
Start in the center of the pan.
Do not pour it thick.
Fry each side about 1 1/2 minutes, or until brown. Drain on paper towels.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
