Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/4 c. flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 1/2 tsp. soda, 3/4 tsp. baking powder and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Stir together flour, sugar, soda, baking powder and salt.
Mix egg and milk.
Add to flour mixture; stir until smooth.
Pour oil into deep skillet to depth of 1-inch.
Fill pan no more than 1/3 full.
Heat to 375Β°.
Funnel batter into hot oil (about 1/4 cup of batter).
Fry, turning over after 2 minutes or golden brown. Drain and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
