Funnel Cake
Funnel Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1 1/2 c. milk, 2 c. all-purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and milk.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add to liquids.
Test mixture to see if it flows through funnel.
If too thick, add milk.
If too thin, add flour.
In an 8-inch skillet, heat oil to 360Β°. Lower bottom opening of funnel and with finger release batter in hot oil in a continuous spiral.
Fry to golden, about 3 minutes. Using a spatula or tongs, turn the cake carefully.
Cook 1 more minute.
Drain on paper towel.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
