Fudgy Bonbons
Fudgy Bonbons is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, 14 oz. sweetened condensed milk, 2 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 c. nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Heat oven to 350Β°.
Combine chocolate chips and butter; stir over very low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
Add milk; mix well.
In medium bowl, combine 1 level cup of flour, finely chopped nuts, chocolate mixture and vanilla.
Mix well.
Shape 1 tablespoon of dough completely around each kiss.
Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 6 to 8 minutes.
Cookies will be soft and appear shiney but become firm as they cool. Remove and cool.
In saucepan, mix baking bar and shortening.
Stir over low heat until melted and smooth.
Drizzle over cookies. Makes 5 dozen.
