Fudge Sundae Pie
Fudge Sundae Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 26 minutes. Made with c. evaporated milk, (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits, c. miniature marshmallows, . salt and qt. vanilla ice cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cook milk, chocolate, marshmallows and salt in 1-quart saucepan over medium heat until chocolate and marshmallows melt and mixture thickens.
Stir constantly.
Remove from heat.
Cool to room temperature.
Line bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan or two 1-quart ice trays with wafers.
Spoon half of ice cream and chocolate over.
Top with nuts.
Refrigerate 5 hours.
Yields 8 to 10 servings.
