Fudge Royale
Fudge Royale is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. sugar, 1/2 c. cocoa, 1 c. milk, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine sugar and cocoa in a saucepan.
Add milk.
Stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved and then bring to a boil.
Stir occasionally and cook to 236Β° or until a small amount of candy dropped in cold water forms a soft ball.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and vanilla but do not stir.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes; then beat until mixture thickens.
Stir in nuts and quickly pour into a buttered 8-inch pan.
Cut into squares.
