Fudge Ribbon Cake
Fudge Ribbon Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (18 1/4 or 18 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 2 tbsp. margarine or butter, softened, 1 tbsp. cornstarch and 1 (14 oz.) can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk), this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Prepare cake mix as package directs. Pour batter into well-greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan.
In small mixer bowl, beat cheese, margarine and cornstarch until fluffy.
Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk, then egg and vanilla until smooth.
Pour evenly over cake batter.
Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Cool thoroughly.
Glaze or garnish as desired.
Store covered in refrigerator.
Makes one 10-inch cake.
