In oblong baking pan, mix flour and 2 cups sugar.
Heat 1 stick margarine, oil until boiling.
Pour over flour mixture.
Mix well by hand.
Dissolve soda in buttermilk and add to mixture. Add eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; mix well. Bake at 350Β° for approximately 30 minutes; set aside.
