Mix sugar, cocoa, flour and soda.
Let butter melt in hot water after removing from burner.
Add milk, eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Cook in a 350Β° oven or 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
