Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
Measure 1 cup gelatin mixture and add cold water until thickened.
Add fruit and put into 1 1/2-quart serving bowl.
Blend ice cream into remaining gelatin and spoon over clear gelatin.
Chill until set.
