Fruited Rice Mix
Fruited Rice Mix is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. uncooked long grain rice, 1 c. chopped dried apples, 1/3 c. golden raisins, 1/3 c. slivered almonds and 1/4 c. instant chicken granules, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine all ingredients and store in airtight container.
To prepare, combine 1 cup mix with 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine in a saucepan.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until water is absorbed. Yield:
