Fruited Holiday Bars
Fruited Holiday Bars is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, beat butter or margarine, brown sugar and vanilla. Add flour and baking soda, beating until blended.
Stir in pineapple, cherries, raisins or dates and walnuts.
Spread mixture evenly in greased baking pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden.
Do not overbake.
Surface should be slightly soft.
