Fruitcake Cookies
Fruitcake Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 c. buttermilk and 1 3/4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Thoroughly mix shortening, sugar and egg.
Stir in buttermilk.
Combine dry ingredients and add.
Stir in pecans, dates and cherries.
Drop teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart on greased cookie sheet.
Top with pecan half.
Bake at 350Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
