Fruit Slush
Fruit Slush is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 3 c. water, 1 (no. 2) can crushed pineapple, 1 (12 oz.) can unsweetened frozen orange juice and 6 ripe bananas, mashed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine sugar and water in saucepan.
Bring to a quick boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Cool syrup.
Mix fruit and juice into syrup and freeze at least 3 hours.
Before serving, remove from freezer and thaw to slushy consistency.
(This can be made several days ahead of serving and frozen, but can take up to 8 hours to thaw.)
