Fruit Salad
Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, 1/2 c. flour, 3/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. margarine and 4 apples, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cook pineapple, flour and sugar until thickened, stirring constantly.
Stir in margarine.
Let cool.
Peel and chop apples. Drop in salt water.
Drain and rinse well.
(Dry apples on paper towels.)
Add to pineapple mixture.
Top with Cool Whip, chopped nuts and cherries.
Serves 8 to 10.
