Fruit Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. acini de pepe, 1 (16 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks, 1 can mandarin oranges (save juice), 1 large container cool whip and 2 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cook macaroni as directed; rinse with cold water.

Put juice in small saucepan.

Add the eggs, sugar, flour and a dash of salt. Stir and bring to a boil.

Add macaroni.

Chill overnight, if possible.

(I've never chilled it overnight, and it tastes fine.) Add fruit and all of Cool Whip.
