Fruit Cookies
Fruit Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. soft margarine, 2 c. brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 c. buttermilk and 3 1/2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix thoroughly margarine, sugar and eggs.
Stir in buttermilk. Sift together flour, soda and salt.
Add dates, cherries and pecans.
Chill at least 1 hour.
Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake until set; when touched lightly, fingers leave no imprint.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 to 10 minutes.
