Fruit Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. sugar, 1/4 c. butter, 1 egg, 1/2 c. milk and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Preheat oven to 375Β°.
Cream sugar and butter.
Add egg and beat well.
Stir in milk.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Add sugar mixture and beat smooth.
Stir in vanilla. Spread evenly over bottom of 8-inch square baking pan.
Mix peaches, honey, boiling water and margarine.
Pour on top of batter.
Cake will rise to the top during baking.
