Fruit Cobbler
Fruit Cobbler is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 stick margarine, 1 large can fruit, 1/2 c. sugar (omit if fruit is already sweetened), 1 c. liquid (juice from fruit plus water to make the c. of liquid) and 1 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Put butter, fruit and sugar (if needed) and the cup of liquid in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Heat until butter is melted.
Mix flour and sugar; mix in milk, stirring until smooth.
Pour batter evenly over fruit mixture.
(Batter usually goes to bottom but rises while cooking.)
Bake at 375Β° for 25 minutes.
Serve warm.
It's great with scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Suitable for freezing.
