Fruit Cake Squares

Grease 10 x 15 pan.
Dust lightly with flour.
Spread 2 cups nuts on bottom of pan.
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour, salt and flavoring.
Spoon over nuts.
Wet hands and pat gently to smooth out butter.
Mix all fruit together.
Spoon fruit mixture over batter.
Again, pat fruit into batter using wet hands.
Bake 1 hour at 290Β°. Cut while hot.
