Fruit Cake
Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (1 lb.) pkg. or 3 c. pitted dates, 4 oz. red candied pineapple chunks, 4 oz. green candied pineapple chunks, 4 oz. red candied cherries and 1 lb. shelled brazil nuts or pecans, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Cut up dates; combine fruit and nuts.
Sift together the dry ingredients. to fruit and nuts, coating well. Stir in beaten and vanilla; mix well.
Line loaf pans with heavy paper (I use paper bags); grease paper.
Fill with batter.
Bake in a slow oven (325Β°) for 1 hour or until done.
