Fruit Cake
Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 lb. sugar (1 1/2 c.), 3/4 lb. butter or 3 sticks margarine, 3 c. plain flour, 8 eggs and 1 lb. mixed fruit, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream butter and sugar together.
Beat egg yolks and add to butter.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Flour fruits and nuts with dry ingredients.
Add remainder of flour to mixture.
Beat egg whites; add to all ingredients.
Add vanilla.
Bake at 225Β° for 4 hours.
