Fruit Cake
Fruit Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 box golden raisins, 1 box dark raisins, 1/2 lb. red candied cherries, chopped, 1 (3 1/2 oz.) angel flake coconut and 5 c. pecans, chopped coarsely, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. With mixer, beat margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add vanilla and 1 1/2 cups flour.
Stir in pineapple with juice.
Roll all fruit and nuts with remaining 1 1/2 cups flour. Stir together all fruit and nuts so it will all be coated with flour.
Pour liquid mixture over fruit; mix well with spoon.
