Fruit Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 c. sugar, 4 eggs, 1 c. butter or margarine, 1 c. buttermilk and 1 tsp. soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream together sugar, eggs and butter.
Put soda in buttermilk and add to mixture.
Sift flour, cocoa and spices together. Combine these ingredients to mixture, then add nuts, raisins, jam and pineapple.
Beat well.
Makes three 9-inch layers.
Cook at 350Β°.
